Field Notes is an evolving editorial journal dedicated to the artistic practice of Ya LaFord and the ideas, histories, and cultural conversations surrounding her work.

Through curatorial essays, critical perspectives, interviews, archival investigations, and reflections from the studio, Field Notes explores the intersections of geometry, abstraction, identity, architecture, and human connection.

Bringing together artists, curators, scholars, journalists, and invited contributors, the journal encourages dialogue and new perspectives on contemporary art.
